Our Fresh Meat Department is a staple destination for quality protein, and has been for over 40 years! It is not only because of what we have and do, but perhaps more importantly, what we don’t do. We do not carry any utility-grade meats, we do not add red-dye and preservatives to our beef, we do not cover our meat in marinades to hide low-quality. We pride ourselves in carrying high quality proteins, and excellent meat-cutter service. What we mean by high-quality is Certified Angus Beef, Grassfed beef, Heritage Breed pork, Illinois HOKA turkey, a small selection of Wild Caught seafood, organic Chicken, and our own line of Amish chicken sourced from Orland, Indiana. Be sure to ask our personnel about preparing a specialty cut for you…we are great at preparing to order!
